Welcome to the Treasure TROVE.

A Tool for Rapid Object Vetting and Examination

TROVE is a new multi-messenger collaboration comprised primarily of researchers at the University of Arizona, UC San Diego and Northwestern University. The goal of this project is to develop a public, open-source, API-enabled platform and website for the real time evaluation of transient objects associated with multimessenger astrophysics events. We are actively planning and building this new piece of time domain infrastructure for broad usage in the community. TROVE is under active development and is currently in alpha.

News!

  • We have written a paper on S251112cm, a candidate gravitational-wave event involving a subsolar mass object to which we applied the TROVE! Accepted to the Astrophysical Journal.

  • University of Arizona graduate student Noah Franz has written a paper on S250818k and SN2025ulz, and our initial TROVE vetting algorithm! Published in Astrophysical Journal Letters.

The Treasure TROVE is funded by the National Science Foundation, grant numbers AST-2432037 and AST-2432036.
